Resolved GDS rejection issue with city names containing special characters

This update fixes a bug that caused booking rejections by the GDS when city names contained special diacritic characters, such as “Œ.” The system now prevents sending city names with these characters to the GDS, ensuring successful booking processing.
  • This fix resolves a critical issue affecting bookings with city names containing diacritic characters that are not supported by the GDS.
  • The system now filters out or transforms these characters to prevent GDS rejections, ensuring successful booking completion.

Enhanced Hotel Information with Sustainability Certifications

This update provides travelers with greater transparency regarding hotel sustainability practices, empowering them to make more environmentally conscious choices. This new tag indicates hotels that have obtained recognized sustainability certifications. Certification data is sourced from the Booking.com API. The data will constantly increase in the first weeks. Changes include:
  • The “Clean and Safe” tag on hotel listings has been replaced with a “Certified” tag.
  • Clicking the “Certified” tag or the “eco-hotel icon” in hotel amenities now displays a pop-up window.
  • This pop-up provides detailed information on:
    • Sustainability Certifications
    • Eco-Friendly Amenities
    • CO2 Emissions
This feature allows users to quickly access key sustainability information, helping them to make informed decisions.

Enabled loyalty cards for CDS content

Loyalty Points Now Available for CDS Suppliers:
  • Travelers can now accumulate loyalty points when booking hotels via GDS suppliers such as Amadeus and Sabre.
  • Requirements for earning loyalty points:
    • The traveler must have their loyalty card added to their profile.
    • The company must have the Loyalty Points feature enabled.
    • The Travel Policy must be configured to allow loyalty points collection during the search.

Improved error messages from security service

This release improves the error messages displayed in Travel when issues occur while saving a user in the Security Service. Instead of generic messages, users will now receive more specific and informative error messages directly from the Security Service. This enhancement specifically addresses the following scenarios:

  • User does not exist in Security Service
  • User’s company/business unit does not exist in Security Service
  • User is non-unique in Security Service

Sample CSV import file updated with SSO ID

The sample CSV import file for user data has been updated to include the “SSO Id” column. This allows administrators to include SSO IDs when importing user data.

New hotel search sorting options by refundability and meals

This release adds two new sorting options for hotel fares within the Travel Policy/Default Search Criteria section. Users can now configure hotel search results to be sorted by Refundability and Meal type, providing greater control over hotel search results.

  • Hotel rates can now be sorted based on their refundability. When sorting descending, refundable rates appear first, followed by non-refundable rates, and then rates with no refundability information. When sorting ascending, the order is reversed.
  • Hotel rates can now be sorted by meal type. When sorting descending, the order is BB (Bed & Breakfast), Half-Board, Full-Board, and then RO (Room Only). When sorting ascending, the order is reversed.

These new options enhance the flexibility of hotel search configuration and allow users to prioritize the criteria most important to their travel policies.

Enhanced Amadeus NDCx pre-ticketing booking modification capabilities

This release enhances the management of NDC bookings from Amadeus by introducing modification capabilities. Users can now modify both non-ticketed and ticketed NDCx bookings, providing greater flexibility when travel plans change.

  • Successful modification: Users can modify various aspects of their NDC bookings, including airports, times, dates, and booking class. Successful modifications will be reflected in the PNR.
  • Remark preservation: Existing general and segment-specific remarks will be preserved after a successful modification.
  • Unsuccessful modification handling: In the event of an error during the modification process, the PNR will remain unchanged, and the error will be handled according to existing system protocols (skip segment, retry, cancel).

New NDC booking details display

This release improves the display of booking details when an NDC fare has been selected. A new chip has been implemented to clearly indicate NDC bookings within the booking detail’s view, ensuring users can easily identify these types of fares

Seatmap for NDCx flight bookings

This release enhances the NDCx flight booking experience by allowing travelers to select and purchase seats directly from an interactive seat map. This functionality mirrors the design used for other providers, ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience.

  • After selecting a flight offer, travelers can access a seat map displaying available seats and their prices.
  • Travelers can select their preferred seat from the map. The selected seat will be highlighted, and the seat selection will be updated in order. The price of the seat will be displayed in the cart, and the total price will be updated accordingly.
  • Upon confirmation, the order will be updated with the selected seat

Ticket hold for Bene Moove

This release introduces hold functionality for Bene Moove rail bookings via the new Bene API. It is now possible to put a BENE Moove rail booking on hold, provided the Last Ticketing Date is sufficiently far in the future, giving travelers more time to finalize their plans. This feature is enabled only for the new Bene API; there were no changes to the legacy API.

Hold booking functionality:

A “hold booking” is a temporary reservation that secures a seat and price without initiating the full booking process. It creates a reservation but does not issue a ticket or trigger further Goelett workflows (e.g., approval). This reservation is contingent on certain conditions, such as a time limit before automatic cancellation, self-confirmation, or approval (if enabled). If these conditions are not met, the reservation is automatically canceled. Hold functionality is always optional for users.
