Seat reservation for DB rail services via BENE Moove

Travelers booking Deutsche Bahn rail services via the BENE Moove integration are now presented with an option to choose whether to reserve a seat during the booking process. When a seat reservation is selected, it is added to the booking summary, the total fare is updated if the reservation is chargeable, and the cost is itemized in the cart. In case the traveler opts out, no additional charges are applied and the booking proceeds without a reserved seat.
This enhancement improves traveler autonomy and booking transparency for DB services, especially in cases where seat reservations are optional or carry an additional fee. The logic applied aligns with existing seat reservation flows used via Trainline.

Enhanced support for remarks and bug fixes in PNR Editor

This update improves the PNR Editor’s remark handling capabilities, introducing support for multiple remark types and resolving several bugs that previously affected the consistency and accuracy of remarks in the PNRs.
Key enhancements:
  • Remarks for multipax bookings are now added correctly to the PNR.
  • Resolved issues where remarks were not transmitted as expected during the booking process.
  • Corrected logic for remark rules that were not executing properly under certain configurations.
  • Fixed behavior for multi-passenger bookings, ensuring remark information is applied consistently across all travelers, not just the main traveler.

tfPay available as a form of payment

This update introduces greater flexibility for TMCs and corporate clients by allowing tfPay to be selected as a form of payment (FOP) even when it is not set as mandatory. Previously, tfPay was offered only when configured as a required payment method. With this enhancement, users can now choose tfPay voluntarily during the booking flow, enabling more secure and efficient payment handling.

Layovers now displayed in transport segments within all customer emails

This update enhances the clarity of transport itineraries in customer emails by including all layovers for air and rail bookings. Previously, emails displayed only the origin and final destination, omitting critical stopover information. Travelers will now receive complete itinerary details across all email types and booking structures.
Update applies to the following email types:
  • Booking confirmation emails (confirmed, hold)
  • Workflow approval emails (approval request, approval notification, rejection)
  • Change notifications (e.g., ticketing delay, cancellation)
  • Information included for each layover: arrival/departure airport or station name and code, local time of arrival and departure, layover duration.
  • The origin and destination airport/station names, codes, travel class, and departure/arrival times remain unchanged.
This change supports all types of booking: one-way, round-trip and multi-leg itineraries.
This enhancement ensures a complete and readable itinerary directly in the traveler’s inbox, improving travel awareness and reducing confusion.

Automated LCC ticket issuance and PNR queuing for Sabre bookings

This update enables automatic ticket issuance via API for Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) services booked through Sabre, significantly streamlining post-booking processes for Travel Management Companies. It also introduces smart queuing behavior to support efficient PNR management based on the outcome of the ticketing action.
Key Enhancements:
  • LCC tickets booked via Sabre are now issued automatically through via their API service.
  • PNRs containing at least one LCC segment are automatically placed on the Websearch queue following successful ticket issuance.
  • In the event of a ticketing failure, PNRs are redirected to a dedicated Websearch Error queue for manual follow-up by agents.
This enhancement reduces manual workload, accelerates fulfillment for LCC services, and ensures failed transactions are clearly flagged for offline resolution, improving efficiency and visibility across the booking lifecycle.

Improved accuracy of seatmap display for Sabre air bookings

This update addresses discrepancies between seatmaps retrieved from Sabre and Amadeus, with the goal of providing a more accurate and user-friendly seat selection experience. In many cases, the seatmaps returned by Amadeus more closely reflect the actual aircraft configuration.
Key improvements:
  • Enhanced logic to map and display seatmaps more accurately during the booking flow.
  • Adjusted integration behavior to prioritize the most reliable seatmap source, improving consistency across providers.
  • Improved UI representation to better reflect the real aircraft layout, reducing confusion for travelers when selecting seats.
This fix ensures a more intuitive and trustworthy seat selection process, enhancing traveler confidence and supporting a seamless booking experience across GDS providers.

Price per night now displayed for hotel bookings

To improve pricing transparency, hotel bookings now show the price per night during the selection process and in the search result and on the trip cart. This enhancement is especially helpful when booking multi-night stays, allowing users to better understand nightly costs before finalizing a reservation.

Contextual Air messages displayed depending on the selected conditions

This update refines the display of air travel messages within Goelett, ensuring that relevant information is presented based on specific search and booking criteria. This improvement enhances clarity and reduces potential confusion by tailoring messages to the context of selected criteria or selected provider
Messages related to baggage policies, fare restrictions, and other air travel details can be now configured and will be dynamically displayed based on the selected route, airline, and fare class.
This ensures that only pertinent information is displayed, avoiding the presentation of irrelevant or conflicting messages

Similar car bookings alert introduced for users within the same Business Unit

This feature introduces an alert system that notifies bookers within the same Business Unit (BU) about existing car rental bookings with similar date, time, and location criteria. This promotes carpooling, reduces costs, and encourages environmentally friendly travel practices.
  • After a booker adds a car service to the cart, the system checks for similar bookings within their BU.
  • Similarity is determined by drop-off locations, dates and times.
  • If a similar booking is found and the original booker has consented to share their booking details, a pop-up message is displayed*, including travelers and trip details.
  • This feature is applicable to both regular car rental stations and delivery/collection locations.
