New seat map view for PAO ITP bookings in mobile app

We’ve introduced a new seat map view for rail bookings made via the PAO provider, including PAO ITP, in the mobile app. This enhancement allows travelers to view and select seats more easily on mobile, improving the booking experience for PAO-based rail journeys.

CO2 annual budget included in user data export

We’ve enhanced the user export functionality to include CO budget data, helping organizations track and manage sustainability goals more effectively. A new column CO2 Yearly Budget” has been added to the user export file. This column will only appear if the “Enable CO budget checkbox is enabled in the Admin settings.

Enhanced two-factor authentication security

We’ve resigned from “Lost my phone” feature works to eliminate a potential security vulnerability related to two-factor authentication (2FA). The “Lost phone” button has been removed from the Verify 2FA login page. It has been replaced with the message: “If you lost your phone, please contact your administrator.” This prevents unauthorized 2FA resets in cases where a user’s email is compromised.

Improved SSO login error handling in STS

We’ve enhanced the way business-related errors are handled and displayed during SSO login in the STS (Security Token Service), making it easier for users and administrators to understand and troubleshoot access issues.

Improved messaging when hotel booking deadline has passed

Previously, when a hotel search was performed but the booking deadline was too short to allow approval (in BAC mode), the hotel segment was not added to the trip cart – without clear explanation.

To enhance clarity, we’ve updated the message displayed in such cases. Now, when the booking deadline has passed and validation is no longer possible, users will be informed with the informative pop up message.

Public fare benchmark now available for discounted rail bookings

To improve fare transparency and demonstrate savings, Goelett now supports displaying the public (non-discounted) rail fare alongside discounted fares for users with rail discount cards. This comparison allows travelers and TMCs to better understand the value of using negotiated or personal rail discounts.

What’s new:

  • Public flexible fares are retrieved and stored for routes returned during search.
  • When configured by the TMC, public fares are shown in the booking cart next to discounted fares – visible only for the main traveler (not for companions).
  • Public fare data is refreshed every 24 hours to ensure accuracy.
  • The public benchmark price and currency can now be sent to the PNR via the PNR Editor (new variables available).
  • Booking data including public fare benchmarks is made available for reporting purposes.

Important considerations:

  • Applies only to the French market and supports the same provider used for the booking
  • Only flexible fares are considered for benchmarking (modification and/or cancellation possible).
This enhancement empowers TMCs and corporate clients to showcase cost-efficiency and measure savings gained through rail discount programs in a transparent and reportable way.

VIAXOFT RAIL: Configurable CSV export with FTP/SFTP integration

We’ve moved the power of CSV files creation directly based on Goelett setup. Now, administrators can design CSV parameters right in Goelett.

What’s new:

  • CSV setup in Goelett: A new interface lets you parameter Goelett fields that will export CSV columns, including customs fields like booker, approver, and remarks. Define column order and format to match Viaxoft CSV standards.
  • Automated Delivery: Viaxoft receives these custom CSVs via FTP/SFTP. Configure connection details and schedule exports directly from OBT to Viaxoft.

Note: Implementation is split to two parts: First with May release we will implement PAO ITP solution, and on the 2nd of June we will load Trainline to complete scope for Rail.

Users that already receive CSV’s will not need to perform any action, this only stands for any “new” client. Also to avoid any issues we will overwrite any settings made to the company that was using the functionality before this release.

Cabin baggage dimensions now displayed in the cart

To improve clarity for travelers and reduce issues at the airport, the travel file now includes cabin baggage dimensions when this information is provided by the airline (TRAVELFUSION).

The dimensions appear when hovering over the carry-on” label or in the “extras” luggage section of the itinerary. This helps travelers better understand what is permitted and avoid surprises at check-in.

Note: This information is only available in English, as it is delivered directly by the aggregator and cannot be localized.

Rail operator name now included in PNR remarks for rail providers

Following the March release, which introduced the display of rail company type in the PNR Editor, we’ve now extended this functionality by adding a new field to capture the actual operator name (e.g., Trenitalia, Renfe,). This ensures that TMCs and operational teams have a fully accurate view of the inventory source behind each booking.

Clearer labels for company payment methods

To avoid confusion during the booking process, we’ve improved the naming of company payment methods displayed in Goelett.

The previously used label “Company account full” has been replaced with a clearer, simplified option: “Company account” . A new label has been introduced for limited-use cases: “Company account – limited”.

This update ensures that users better understand which payment method to select, reducing hesitation and booking errors caused by unclear terminology.
