Improved Hotel Search: Filter by Guest Reviews

We’ve enhanced the hotel search experience by introducing a new filtering option based on user reviews. Search results can be now narrowed down by selecting a specific rating, including: Excellent, Good, Okay, Poor, Terrible, or None. This filter applies after user have performed a search, allowing for precise control over the results, leveraging valuable user feedback.

Accor loyalty card update: Le Club AccorHotels becomes ALL – Accor Live Limitless

Following a recent rebranding, the Le Club AccorHotels loyalty card is now known as ALL – Accor Live Limitless. This update is now reflected in the Profile Settings, where users can update their chosen loyalty card type to the new version. The loyalty card selection during the booking process has also been updated to reflect the new name.

Streamlined Train Search Navigation

We’ve improved the user experience for rail search results narrowed to a specific timeframe. Previously, the search criteria jumped +4 hours from the last train departure in the previous results. For an example this meant the first page showed trains departing between 10:00-14:00, but the next page jumped to trains departing after 18:00, not after 14:00.

Now, the search criteria precisely match the departure hour of the last train on the previous screen. Clicking “Later Trains” displays results departing exactly directly later than the last train on the previous screen, eliminating the unnecessary gap. Additionally, a new “Earlier Trains” button allows travelers to seamlessly explore train departures across a wider time range.

Renfe Loyalty Program Added

Travelers can now benefit from Más Renfe, the Renfe loyalty program. With this program travelers can earn points on their train journeys and redeem them for rewards like free tickets, hotel stays, and more.

Adding AirPrice for Subscription Fare Validation in Sabre

We have implemented an improvement to the booking process for Air France Abonné-CFM (subscription) fares. This update ensures that the validity of user’s Air France subscription card is verified before finalizing the booking.

Previously,  the booking process for Abonné-CFM fares did not automatically check the validity of the subscription card. This update introduces an additional step using Sabre’s AirPrice API to confirm the card’s validity before proceeding.

This update streamlines Abonné-CFM bookings by automatically checking subscription card validity upfront. This reduces errors and ensures a smoother booking experience, saving users time. This enhanced functionality is now available for all users booking Air France Abonné-CFM fares.

SNCF Point of Sale Setup Simplified (ITP dynamic profiles)

This update streamlines SNCF Point of Sale (POS) setup for PAO users. Previously, each TMC needed to create two profiles (one for sales, one for aftersales). Now, a single POS configuration simplifies the process, saving the time on both setup and ongoing management.

How it Works:

• Companies can define their POS directly in the Transportation Providers Configuration section.

• Goelett automatically transmits the POS identifier based on the company’s settings.

• If no POS is defined, the system uses the previous approach. This update eliminates the need for duplicate profiles and simplifies POS management for PAO users.

PNR imports from Sabre

We are now offering an import of PNRs from Sabre. Thanks to this improvement, bookings made offline by agents can now be sent to our OBT and displayed to our users.

Note: The system treats each PNR as a new trip, so we handle the modifications by removing the old PNR and adding the same one as NEW.

Streamlined Seat Selection for Deutsche Bahn

We’ve improved the seat selection process for Deutsche Bahn bookings. Seat prices have been removed from the seat map to avoid confusion. The dedicated reservation tab will always display the most accurate pricing for traveler’s chosen seat. Seat choices on the map are now automatically reflected in the reservation tab.

Improved Train Modification Search for Deutsche Bahn

We’ve identified and addressed an issue with modifying Deutsche Bahn journeys booked through Trainline. Previously, searching for the same journey without changing stations during modification might return no results. We’ve improved the search logic to prioritize city names over booked stations during modification searches. This ensures travellers can seamlessly search for existing Deutsche Bahn trips on Trainline, even if they don’t remember the exact station names.

Deutsche Bahn Seat Reservation Fix

We’re addressing an issue where Deutsche Bahn seat reservations weren’t being saved in Goelett OBT. Previously, Deutsche Bahn seat reservations functioned differently than SNCF reservations. While SNCF assigns seats before confirming the Trainline order, Deutsche Bahn assigns them only after the order is fully confirmed.

The proposed solution involves using the Trainline OrderConfirmed event to trigger the retrieval and saving of the reserved seats to the database.
