Enhanced Currency Handling for LCC Bookings

We’ve improved currency handling for low-cost carrier bookings to ensure smoother integration with TMC back-office systems. Previously, the purchase currency for LCC bookings depended on the origin country’s market. This caused issues for TMCs with back-office systems that only accept EUR, as bookings originating in markets like the UK would have a purchase currency of GBP. Goelett now provides greater flexibility and clarity for LCC bookings.

The names of the elements that display the purchase currency and value have been made clearer, and new elements have been added to show the converted values in the currency specified in your general settings. This ensures that TMCs can always receive booking information in their preferred currency, regardless of the flight’s origin. Goelett sources currency exchange rates from ECB.

Additional Luggage Option for Air France/KLM Flights via NDC

Goelett now offers the ability to purchase additional luggage directly within the platform when booking Air France/KLM flights via our Direct Air France/KLM NDC integration. This new feature eliminates the need for travelers to visit the airline’s website or contact support to manage baggage needs.

When booking eligible Air France/KLM flights, travelers will see an option to purchase additional luggage.  Available luggage options and prices will be displayed in real-time based on NDC data. The total booking price will update automatically to reflect the selected luggage. Confirmation of the added luggage will be included in the booking summary and e-ticket.

Enhanced Cancellation for Multi-Inventory Rail Bookings

Goelett has improved the cancellation process for multi-inventory rail bookings made through ITP PAO, providing greater flexibility and control for managing bookings with multiple offers. Users can now cancel all refundable portions of a multi-inventory booking. The system automatically retries cancellations in case of technical issues or communication errors, ensuring successful cancellation whenever possible.

After canceling refundable offers, the exchange functionality is dynamically managed. If multiple inventory offers remain, the exchange option is disabled. However, if the remaining offers are from a single inventory, the exchange button becomes available.

This update streamlines the management of multi-inventory rail bookings, providing a more efficient and user-friendly experience. In the event of cancellation failures despite retries, the system notifies the user and logs the issue for further investigation.

Improved Train Ticket Management in PAO Integration

We’ve enhanced our PAO integration to improve the management of train ticket information. This update ensures accurate ticket assignment, pricing, and exchange operations for train bookings.

Key improvements:

  • Each train segment within a booking will now have its own assigned ticket number.
  • The total price will be broken down per train segment, including any applicable fees.
  • When exchanging a train ticket, the original trip will be marked as canceled (with any associated fees) instead of being removed. This provides a clearer record of the booking history.

Amadeus Profile Synchronization Issue Resolved

We have resolved an issue that prevented user profile data from synchronizing with Amadeus after adding an ESTA card.  Previously, a bug related to the ESTA number blocked synchronization. While this bug has been fixed, manually saving an ESTA card to a user profile did not trigger automatic synchronization with Amadeus.

This issue has now been addressed. Amadeus profiles will now correctly synchronize when ESTA card information is added or updated in Goelett.

Missing Card Number in PNR for Abonne Bookings

A bug has been fixed that prevented the card number from being included in the PNR for Abonne bookings made through Travelfusion NDC. This issue occurred because the card number was not being properly retrieved from the user’s profile and added to the PNR during the booking process. With this fix, the system now correctly includes the card number in the PNR for all Travelfusion NDC Abonne bookings.

Improved Approval Email Formatting

We’ve updated the formatting of approval emails to enhance readability. Previously, the font size of the link redirecting to the app was too small, making it difficult to see and click.  This has been corrected to improve visibility and ensure a smoother user experience.

Analytical Fields Now Displayed in Trip on Hold Emails

A bug has been fixed that prevented analytical fields from being displayed in the “trip on hold” email template. Analytical fields are now correctly included in these emails, providing recipients with complete trip information.

Enhanced Offer Validation: Expired Offer Detection


We’ve implemented a new feature to validate offer expiration dates for both air and rail offers. This enhancement ensures that users are only presented with valid options and prevents bookings from being made for expired offers.
The system now checks offer expiration dates before allowing bookings. Users are notified if they attempt to book an expired offer, with guidance on how to proceed. Expired offers are disabled in the cart, preventing users from attempting to book them.


This enhancement provides a more seamless and user-friendly booking experience by preventing bookings for expired offers and ensuring that users are always presented with valid options.

CO2 Emission Information in Confirmation Emails

Booking confirmation emails now include CO2 emission estimates for each service (hotel, air, rail, car), promoting greater awareness of environmental impact and supporting sustainable travel choices.
